The Mughal Eidgah is placed at Saat Masjid road,
in the Dhanmondi residential area of Dhaka, Bangladesh. This municipal
open space has been in use for the two Muslim ceremonies that is Eid celebrations. It was prepared
in 1640 CE. Conservationist architect Abu Sayeed M Ahmed wtote, "This beautiful
Eidgah is the oldest surviving Mughal memorial
in Dhaka city. There is no similar one with the architectural forms and facial
appearance similar to it."
